Home!

So, Carl got to come home today! This was a pleasant surprise, as we had originally been told he would stay in the hospital for a week, so we had been hoping for a Thursday discharge. But his doctors decided he was well enough to go home today.

All things considered, he’s doing well and we’re happy he can continue his recovery from the comfort of home. He’s seeing Dr. Chen for a follow-up in two weeks, at which point the stitches will probably come out.
